Rising UK star Fabian Secon teams up with Queens, New York rapper Felix Dicey for the new single “Bandz No Sleep”. The turn-up, club-ready anthem was produced by Jens Ole McCoy, the producer behind Noah Carter’s Beats 1/Ebro-championed 2nd Demo project. The pair took to the streets of Copenhagen to film the high-octane visuals, directed by Mark Stenlid and Mikkel Stenlid.
The single arrives during an exciting period for independent artist Fabian, who recently surpassed 3 million streams, owed in part to “Haze” alongside Young T & Bugsey, and his breakout hit “Defeated”, which is now at 1 million streams across all platforms. Fabian is also receiving support from the likes of Highsnobiety, Complex, MTV and Link Up TV, as well as radio support from BBC 1Xtra, Capital FM and Capital XTRA.
“Bandz No Sleep” is available to download/stream now from all outlets.

Up till now, not many know that Eleko crooner, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun, is the son of veteran Nollywood actress, Toyin Adewale. The reason is not far from the fact that the fast rising singer has struggled to create a unique identity of his own, devoid of his mom’s influence.Since his debut single, Eleko, shot him to limelight aftersigning on to Davido’s record label, DMW, Mayorkun has battled to isolate himself from his mom’s influence on his music career because he needed to prove to the public that hard work is what has been responsible for his success so far.According to Mayorkun, it irks his ego whenever news goes to town that his mom’s influence is what has helped his music career. In an exclusive chat with Showtime, he explained that contrary to what the public thinks, his mom hardly knows any hip-hop artiste. He boasted that she rides on the wings of his success in the music industry and not the other way round.“First, no disrespect, but my mom has no impact on my entertainment influence. My mom is in fact the person who wants me to go into banking other than music so she never spoke to anybody, she never had any influence. To be happen. By the way, my mom is not even in Nigeria, so I do my things myself.”

THE Nigerian urban life singer, Adekunle Gold who quit his job as a brand manager for a social media brand activation company in 2014 to focus on his music, was barely getting recognition in the industry until he got noticed by YBNL, owned by Olamide.
But since signing to YBNL in 2015, which he quit a year later after his deal expired, Adekunle Gold has not only become a household name, he has been able to create his own unique sound with a large fan base.
Speaking in a recent interview, the ‘Sade’ singer recalled that his first trip outside the shores of the country was thanks to Olamide.
“YBNL moved me. I had Sade before YBNL and it was already getting popular. When I got signed to the label, we shot the video and it became like a sensation everywhere.
Getting signed to YBNL took me to London for the first time. That was in 2015. So, YBNL changed everything for me. I am grateful to Olamide for all the support and inspiration”
When asked on the project he is currently working on, the singer said a new sophomore album is in the works and is slated for release first quarter of 2018.
